You’re going to hate this, but, you should probably change every password on every internet profile you have ASAP. It was reported late last week that 16 BILLION login credentials were leaked and posted on line. And not just posted. The hackers were nice enough to break them down into useable categories so it’d be easier for thieves to pick through.

Also, the hacked data was from multiple sources and each of those sources covered multiple businesses and on and on: banks, businesses, online subscriptions, apps, etc. Heck, I just did a quick mental inventory of all the online things I don’t want anyone to look at including health portals where health records and lab results are, a site where all my work records, 401k access, and even access to various appliances in my house.

To be safe, change everything. Don’t be like that person, who we all know, whose Facebook account is constantly getting hacked and cloned, constantly sending everyone a “Hey, if you got a friend request from me, don’t accept” message. It probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to run virus checks too because a lot of this info was stolen straight off people’s computers.
