Matt Damon’s easy recipe he says kids love.

Matt Damon recently shared his favorite, easy recipe that he and his kids love. As a foodie, when I saw the headline I immediately thought, “I can eat like Matt Damon!” and jumped into the article. He told People magazine it only takes 3 ingredients, is healthy, and, bonus, his kids love it. Ready? Cook some pasta. Steam some broccoli. Toss with some butter.

Turns out that I was eating like Matt Damon when I was in college and poor. Also, I think we can notch it up a bit in flavor without making it any harder.

1st, I suggest linguine as the pasta. I love broccoli. But if you don’t, cauliflower is great because it will absorb all the other flavors. Kids won’t even realize there’s a vegetable. Instead of butter, use some olive oil and a pinch of salt. Sprinkle a little parmesan on top. Add some peanuts for protein.

Or……… lose the parmesan and salt and put a few drops of your favorite spicy sauce. If no peanuts, warm up a little peanut butter and mix it in. Sound funny, but it works. Enjoy!
