You know how people keep making the joke, “Well it’s 2025 and there still aren’t any flying cars”. They’re going to have to stop saying that.
China’s largest car company has unveiled a flying car that they’re going to be mass producing soon. Although, I think calling them car is a little generous.
They look like large versions of consumer drones with a cabin that seats two people. They don’t have wheels and can’t drive down highways. Actually, they’re more like mini helicopters that aren’t much bigger than a SUV. But, the big deal here is that they can take off and land almost anywhere. They can be used like taxis. They’re also electric vehicles.
They’re taking pre-orders if you want one. You’ll need about a quarter million bucks.
