The Steve Miller Band won’t be rocking the Pinewood Bowl in Lincoln on September 17, or any other concert venue this summer. The band announced they have cancelled their entire tour this year.
“The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes, and massive forest fires make these risks for you our audience, the band and the crew unacceptable,” the band said in a statement.
“You can blame it on the weather, the tour is cancelled.” The band was scheduled to perform in 19 different states. The tour was originally scheduled to begin on August 13 and conclude on November 8.
