Parents! Tik Tok released new features today that help you oversee more of what your kids do on the app.

Using the feature called “Family Pairing’, parents can now block specific accounts on your kid’s Tik Tok account. And you can do it without the kids knowing you blocked the accounts. It also automatically notifies parents when the children uploads a public video, story, or photo. Parents also get more access to the kid’s privacy settings.

Not to sound old, but when I was a kid, the worst thing my folks had to block me from seeing or interacting with was the dirty magazines at the back of the rack at the gas station.

Tik Tok will be releasing another feature that I think a lot of adults will like called “Well Being Missions”. It’ll feature tools like breathing exercises, calming audio tracks, and screen time insights to help people recharge.
