Every guest at a hotel had to go without restrooms all of this last weekend. They also didn’t have any tap water, showers, etc. And here’s the best part…….. it’s because there was too much water.

It happened at the Paradise Inn at Mount Rainier National Park. They got a lot of heavy rain that affected the hotel’s water system, allowing contaminated water to get into it all. There was probably a lot of bad bacteria floating around. So, it got shut down. And it’s still down, maybe all week.

They suggested people bring their own water in to use in the bathrooms and to drink.

And now for the elephant in the room, where did guests go to, uh, go? Guests were told to head to the closest available campsite which is NINE MILES away, approximately 20 minutes by car. With that in mind, I feel for anyone that brought little kids with them. And I have a suggestion to anyone else that finds themselves in a similar situation; you could always ask the bears where they go. Hint, there are lots of trees.
