As we mentioned on B Mornings with Brooke and Adam, The Hillshire Brand Company, a subsidiary of Tyson Foods, has voluntarily recalled over 50 million pounds of frozen meat products sold under the Jimmy Dean and State Fair brands.
The recall was issued on September 27 following consumer complaints and reports of injuries.
The recall includes:
- State Fair Corn Dogs (on a stick)
- Jimmy Dean Pancakes & Sausages (on a stick)
These products were produced between March 17 and September 26 and distributed nationwide through retail stores, online platforms, food service locations, school districts, and even Department of Defense facilities.
Look for the following establishment numbers printed on the packaging:
- EST-582
- P-894
Also check the use by/sell by dates to confirm if your product is part of the recall.
