Have you started thinking about Thanksgiving yet? Several grocery stores have already begun announcing lower priced meal deals. For instance, Walmart says this year’s Thanksgiving Basket feeds 10 at $4 per person. That includes the usual staples.
Aldi says they have a similar deal; 10 people for $40. Their website lists 21 different items including 10 pounds of potatoes. Also, shells and cheese. That’s right. They know Mac and Cheese goes with anything.
I’m sure some other stores will soon have their own versions, although, prices will range. And with the rising prices of beef, I’ve begun thinking about buying a whole bunch of one of the meal deals, freezing a bunch, and eating like it’s Thanksgiving until 4th of July next year. I’m only half joking.
