Jenny and I went to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch Saturday so we could take part in the annual pumpkin smashing.
If you’ve never been, at the end of the season, they load up hayracks full of visitors and drive them over to a field full of pumpkins where everyone is allowed to break, smash, and explode pumpkins. You can toss them off a tall wagon, throw them at boards full of sharp spikes, or just throw them at other pumpkins. Several people tried to stomp them, but ended up hurting their legs.
Speaking of hurt legs……. I’m ready to fill in for Dylan Raiola. I found several football shape pumpkins that I used for passing practice with the spiked boars as a receiver. Check out my quarterback skills.
Some pumpkins weren’t cooperative as you can see here with Jenny. She did last longer and smashed way more pumpkins than me.
We both went home exhausted with slightly sore muscles form the workout.
