Brand spanking new trailer for the Supergirl movie just landed. It doesn’t really say much about a plot, but I am interested in seeing how Miley Alcock handles the role. She did a pretty good job in her brief stint as Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon.
Bonus: The trailer is set to the Blondie song, “Call Me”.
Wikipedia lists the plot as “Kara Zor-El celebrates her 21st birthday by travelling across the galaxy with her dog Krypto. Along the way, she meets the young Ruthye Marye Knoll and encounters a tragedy that leads her on a “murderous quest for revenge”. Although, in the trailer, she says she’s 23. IMDB didn’t really have anything about the plot.
Jason Mamoa is also in Supergirl, but his days as Aquaman are over. He’s now playing a intergalactic bounty hunter named Lobo. I didn’t see him in the trailer, but they might have snuck a quick reference in the trailer that I missed. Also, trust me when I say Jason looks a lot like Lobo before any Hollywood makeup has been applied.
