You know that insurance commercial with Lemu Emu where they’re parachuting into the football stadium, but miss and end up in the parking lot.
Well, life imitated art last week when a parachutist got stuck in the field goal netting like a fly in a spiders web.
It happened at the Armed Forces Bowl. You can see him coming in hot. And then, all of a sudden, about 20 feet off the ground, he just stops midair….. and then bounces a couple of times. You can’t really see the net, so it kind of looks like a special effect out of a movie. He’s there about 5 seconds and then drops like a rock to the ground.
The most surreal part of the whole thing is that in the video, you hear a woman, and much of the crowd nonchalantly just saying, “Ohhh no. Ohh” without any kind of panic…. Like they think it’s part of the show and people dropping 20 or more fee to the ground is no big deal. –Parachute Clip
To be fair, there are other clips where people seem more concerned, including cussing…. Which is why I’m not sharing those.
Fortunately, the parachute guy got up and walked away. They say he didn’t have any serious injuries.
