I’m starting to get a little scared about driving in Omaha. Last week is was the SUV that somehow drove up the guy lines of electrical poles in a snowstorm to a giant sinkhole swallowing two vehicles that were waiting at a stop light.
If I didn’t know any better, I’d think it was a break away prop like in the movies because the hole in the actual pavement is almost a perfect square that folded exactly in the middle. Has anyone checked up on the mole people lately???? Maybe one of Alan Funt’s kids is trying to revive Candid Camera?
The cars are a red small SUV and a large pickup. The SUV was almost completely swallowed up. Only the front bumper stayed above ground. Who does the insurance company go after in cases like this? Is it the city? Do they consider it an act of God? Is an accident that raises your rates?
My favorite comment on one of the videos is, “You’re supposed to come to a full stop. Not a full drop.”
And I don’t know who this guy is, but I like the cut of his jib.
