As temperatures dropped to freezing early Wednesday morning, light rain turned to snow with grassy surfaces covered with the reminder that winter is not done yet.

Today, gusty Northwest winds 30 to 35 mph along with highs in the upper 40s will dry things out ahead of a weather system moving in overnight into Thursday.

Thursday, strong, gusty Southwest winds to near 40 mph will usher in much warmer temps in the upper 60s to near 70.  That combination has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Fire Weather Watch from 12 Noon to 9 PM tomorrow.
