Lincoln Transportation and Utilities will be closing “O” Street between 13th and 16th streets on Monday, May 18, for water main replacement and Black Hills Energy utility work. LTU says the closure is part of Project “O” Street and will be in place until fall 2026.
The recommended detours are Antelope Valley Parkway, “L” Street, “K” Street, “P” Street, “Q” Street, Ninth Street, and 10th Street. LTU is offering several ways for residents to stay updated on project:

- A weekly Coffee with the Contractor meeting at 9 a.m. Wednsedays at the Music Box on 14th Street between “O” and “N” streets.
Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure.
