A Kansas man can’t take home his brand new pickup because…… a bird made a nest in a wheel well.
He bought a Ford F-250 from an Olathe, Kansas dealership. When the dealer went to get the truck ready for him, they found that a robin had built a nest full of of little blue eggs on a tire.
Now the Truck has to stay where it’s at until the family of robins decide to move somewhere else. They’re federally protected.
Shortly after they found the nest, the eggs did hatch. And the dealership is taking advantage of the situation for some good PR. They posted pictures on social media saying that employees have become fond of the birds and thanked their customers for being patient while this runs its course.
