I was going through my Memorial Day recipes and decided that this year, I want to share a sauce recipe today. It’s basically a Smoky Sauce that you smear all over your grilled corn.
Most people just rub in some butter or olive oil with salt. But, this is next level, adding depth to the flavor. Ingredients include, everything you should have in your cupboard: garlic powder, ground mustard, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and butter. It’s crazy easy and fast to make, but everyone will be like, “What did you add to the corn?”
I suggest grilling the corn, mainly because I like how it tastes even without this sauce, but you do you. Boil, microwave, whatever and then slather on the Smoky Sauce.
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard, 1 pinch cayenne, 1 pinch garlic powder, Kosher salt
Directions:
Mix the butter with the smoked paprika, ground, mustard, cayenne, garlic powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a small bowl. Then slap that tastiness all over the corn. Done! Super easy.
Leftover butter can be kept refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
