Lincoln Police say five people were injured in a two vehicle crash at 48th and ‘R’ Street around 10:30 Friday morning. LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says one of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition.
Thomas says two other people suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries and the other two received minor injuries. “The investigation is ongoing as the crash reconstruction team works to determine what happened,” Thomas says.
Northbound 48th Street at R and westbound R Street at 48th are both blocked to traffic. Thomas says drivers should find an alternate route at this time.
