The city of Lincoln has scored high on another best of list. We are now 25th in the National Park Rankings.
The Trust For Public Land ranks the 100 most populous cities by comparing equity, park access, investment, activities, and acreage. They’re a national non-profit that basically helps set up public lands and activities for people to get out and enjoy.
And for the 1st time ever, Lincoln broke into the top 25. They list Lincoln’s strong points as everyone being within 10 minutes walking distance of a park. We also did pretty well for having splash pads, senior rec centers, dog parks, playgrounds, other similar outdoor activities.
