Yet another robot has gone haywire and attacked a human! Well, accidentally, but………
Just this year, a robot fell and started thrashing around like a flopping NBA player and ended up injuring a human……….. a robot server at a California restaurant went berserk and attacked a table with people at it a few months ago…… and now one of them metal monsters literally round house kicked a kid in the stomach, knocking the child to the ground.
To add insult to injury, the humanoid robot was wearing a blue clown wig.
The poor kid folded like a lawn chair. He’s ok though.
Actually, it was a bunch of kids at what appeared to be some kind of celebration and the robot was the entertainment. It was dancing around and doing karate moves and the kid just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
And this is how I know that robot is probably self-aware. Immediately after the kid fell over, the robot stopped and surveyed the crowd as if it was thinking, “Oh crap. What’d I just do?” Then it backed away slowly with its eyes on the crowd.
I blame the wig. The robot probably felt humiliated wearing it in a dead end job and just decided to heck with it.
