Lincoln Police say an early Sunday morning fight sent two people to the hospital. LPD says officers were called to a parking lot near 20th and ‘N’ Street around 2:30 a.m. on a report of an injury accident.
Arriving officers were informed that a fight had occurred in the parking lot prior to the call, and one of the people involved in the scuffle got into their vehicle and used it to strike approximately five people before colliding with another vehicle and fleeing the scene.
LPD says two individuals were transported to a local hospital with serious but non life- threatening injuries. Police say the suspect is known to officers and is not believed to be a threat to the public.
That person has not been arrested yet. Lincoln Police is requesting that anyone with information about the fight, including video or audio recordings, to contact the non-emergency number at 402 441-6000, or CrimeStoppers at 402 475-3600 if they wish to remain anonymous.
