Lincoln Police arrested a 48-year-old man following a reported assault Saturday morning near South 27th and J Streets.
Officers say a 35-year-old man reported being struck in the legs and head with a baseball bat and threatened with a handgun. The victim suffered minor injuries.
LPD Lieutenant Jason Goodwin told KLIN News, “Officers contacted 48-year-old Kenneth Bordeaux and arrested him for the assault. Officers who also served a search warrant at the address. Bordeaux was lodged in jail for second-degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a controlled substance.”
