Independent congressional candidate Austin Ahlman will bring his campaign to Lincoln this week for a public town hall focused on hearing directly from voters. Ahlman, who is running as an independent in Nebraska’s First Congressional District, will host the event Wednesday evening at VFW Post 131 near 33rd and West A Street.
The town hall begins at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues affecting working Nebraskans. Ahlman’s campaign says it has emphasized face-to-face conversations with voters and public question-and-answer sessions throughout the district.
