Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect for Lincoln

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portion of southeastern Nebraska, including Lincoln and Lancaster County until 11:00 pm Friday night. According to the National Weather Service the threat for severe weather is increasing for late this afternoon and evening, with damaging winds being the primary threat. However, large hail, flooding, and tornadoes are also possible. Have plans for shelter if you will be outdoors.
