A Firth man is facing multiple charges after a rollover crash Tuesday morning at 35th and O streets in Lincoln. Lincoln Police responded to the two-vehicle crash just before 11 a.m. Tuesday. Investigators say 20-year-old Johnny Johnson Jr., of Firth, was cited and released after officers determined he was driving under the influence.

“He was cited for DUI first-offense DUI, minor in possession of alcohol, reckless driving, possession of marijuana, failure to wear a seat belt and refusing to submit to a test,” says LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas.

She says officers found small bottles of alcohol in his car.  Thomas says Johnson’s blood alcohol level was .077. A drug recognition expert also determined he was under the influence of cannabis. Police said Johnson refused to provide a urine sample for drug testing.

The crash caused one vehicle to roll onto it’s roof.  That person was taken to a Lincoln hospital with what police described as a suspected minor injury.
