Lincoln Police have identified the teenager who was killed in a two vehicle crash at 84th and ‘O’ Street Friday night. Investigators say Troy Jeffrey was a passenger in a Toyota Camry that was hit by a pickup truck.
When officers arrived at the scene found the two vehicles on the median just east of the intersection. Investigators say the pickup was traveling eastbound on ‘O’ Street through a green light when the Camry began pulling out in front of it to turn southbound. The vehicles collided before the Camry could complete the turn.
Police say Jeffrey was pronounced dead at the scene. Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews extricated another person from a vehicle. That person was transported to Bryan West Campus for evaluation.
Alcohol is not suspected in the crash
