Holy smokes! You need to watch the final shot of the Husker Women’s basketball game last night (below). Kendall Moriarty made a half court swish. It was a one in a million shot because of the way she threw it. It looked more like a round house/ wide upper cut punch than a shot. It made it even funnier the way the announcers’ voice pitched up about 3 octaves when they realized what happened and got really surprised and excited about it. It was an amazing shot in the Husker Women’s win, 80 to 51 over Penn State. Congratulations ladies! Next game is Saturday against #3 Ohio State. Pregame at 1:45 on B107.3.
