Dolly Parton is working on a rock album. And it looks like she’s pulling in a lot of big names to help. She says there’s going to be a song with Stevie Nicks called “What Has Rock And Roll Ever Done For Me”. Dolly’s doing a duet with Simon LeBon of Duran Duran and another song with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. She’ll being doing a cover of “Let It Be” with Paul McCartney. Another is Open Arms” she’ll sing with Steve Perry. John Fogherty is doing a Creedence Clearwater song with Dolly. Plus, Cher and Annie Lennox have both been in the studio to redo “Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This”. Pink and Belinda Carlisle will also be singing on it. The album is going to be like a Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame get together. It’ll be big with 28 tracks. This Dolly Parton rock and roll album should be out either this spring or early fall.
