An employee of the LincOne Federal Credit Union near 47th and W Streets was injured after a car crashed through the front of the building just before noon on Wednesday.
“The driver had been pulling into the parking stall in front of the building, however her foot slipped off the brake and hit the accelerator,” LPD Captain Todd Kocian tells KLIN News. “That caused the car to travel forward, striking the building.”
Kocian says a woman was sitting in her office when the car crashed through the window near the main entrance. “She was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a leg injury and released.”
The 88 year old driver was not injured.
