The Lancaster County Election Commission has updated Tuesday’s Lincoln City Primary vote tallies.
Lincoln Mayor
Leirion Gaylor Baird (D) added 3,674 votes. This places the incumbent Mayor at 50% of votes cast, for a total number of 28,838. Suzanne Geist (R) gained 1,602 votes. This places Geist at 33% of votes cast, for a total of 19,138. Stan Parker (R) gained 958. This places Parker at 17% of the vote total, with 9,945 votes.
Leirion Gaylor Baird and Suzanne Geist will advance to the May 2nd general election ticket.
Lincoln City Council District 1
James Michael Bowers (D) — 6,196 votes — 52%
Taylor Wyatt (R) — 5,801 votes — 48%
Both Bowers and Wyatt will advance to the May 2nd general election.
Lincoln City Council District 2
Tom Duden (R) — 7,202 votes — 36%
Bailey Feit (D) — 5,797 votes — 29%
Peter Katt (R) — 4,671 votes — 24%
Thien Chu (D) — 2,144 votes — 11%
Duden and Feit will advance to the May 2nd general election.
Lincoln City Council District 3
Justin Carlson (D) — 7,970 votes — 63%
Elina Newman (N) — 4,602 votes — 37%
Both Carlson and Newman will advance to the May 2nd general election.
Lincoln City Council District 4
Wayne Reinwald (R) — 2,417 votes — 32%
Brodey Weber (D) — 2,102 votes — 28%
Maggie Mae Squires (D) — 1,744 votes — 23%
Kay Siebler (D) — 1,333 votes — 18%
Reinwald and Weber will advance to the May 2nd general election.
Lincoln Airport Authority Board of Directors
Chris Stokes (R) — 23,704 votes — 30%
Vanessa Emlich (D) — 17,632 votes — 22%
Chris Hove (R) — 17,429 votes — 22%
Nathan Janulewicz (D) — 11,863 votes — 15%
Sammy Luci (R) — 9,150 — 11%
Stokes, Emlich, Hove, and Janulewicz will advance to the May 2nd general election.
LPS Board of Education District 2
Piyush Srivastav (D) — 5,342 votes — 55%
Emmy Pollen (R) — 4,443 votes — 45%
Both Srivastav and Pollen will advance to the May 2nd general election.
LPS Board of Education District 4
Annie Mumgaard (D) — 2,468 votes — 61%
Alaina Brouillette (R) — 1,590 votes — 39%
Both Mumgaard and Brouillette will advance to the May 2nd general election.
LPS Board of Education District 6
Bob Rauner (N) — 6,562 votes — 67%
Richard Aldag, IV (R) — 3,223 votes — 33%
Both Rauner and Aldag will advance to the May 2nd general election.
