The final vote on LB 574 is expected this afternoon as the Unicameral deals first with an amendment offered Thursday by Senator Lynne Walz.
Similar to the amendment offered by Senator Merv Riepe on abortion it would change a 12 week abortion ban from gestational age to 12 weeks post-fertilization. It would also add ‘fetal anomaly incompatible with life’ as an exception.
It would also specify regulations for youth to meet before receiving gender affirming medicinal treatment.
