Grab your tambourine, for the first time in 20 years, the VW Bus is back in the United States! If you’re a Gen Xer, there’s a 68% chance you were conceived in one of these things. However, this isn’t exactly the same peace and love hippy mobile it was back then. The outside kind of looks similar, the rest screams soccer mom: coffee cup holders, heated seats, giant touch screen, in built sunshade that works with the slide of a finger, seats for 7 people, and a lot more comfort stuff. It’s an all-electric vehicle with an animal free interior, meaning no leather, but the fabric on the seats looks comfy. The back seats can come out to make a room for a lot of stuff.
The new version is called VW ID Buzz. They’ll be on the market in 2024.
