There’s some shaking up going on in the TV game show world. Pat Sajak announced last week that he’s retiring from the Wheel Of Forune. Today, they announced that Ryan Seacrest will be replacing him. Ryan said, “I’m truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak. I can say, along with the rest of America, that it’s been a privilege and pure joy to watch Pat and Vanna on our television screens for an unprecedented 40 years, making us smile every night and feel right at home with them.” He also mentioned that he had hosted a game show called “Click” 25 years ago. Ryan went on to say that he can’t wait to be working alongside Vanna White. She has a year left on her contract. Do you think she’ll stay on after that. She’ll be 68 when Ryan steps in.
Also, the Price Is Right is moving their studio. They’re going from the Bob Barker Studios to Haven Studios in a different city. They’ve filmed in the same place for 50 years, but need to move because Television City, where the Bob Barker Studio is at is getting a gigantic, more than a billion dollars, renovation. The Haven Studio, where they’re going, is new and state of the art.
