If you haven’t had a chance to see pandas in an American zoo and you want to, best get on it quick. China is taking them all back. The National Zoo will be sending the three giant pandas there back by December 7th. The Atlanta Zoo’s contract ends at the end of 2024 and they say there’s been no discussion to extend it. And that’s it.
The San Diego Zoo had a few, which were completely adorable, but they had to send them back in 2019. The Memphis Zoo also had one, but he went back in April. So, maybe plan a vacation to see one, because there are less than 2,000 left in the world. And there won’t be any in the UNited Sates soon.
