You’ve heard of people who “Dine and Dash”, meaning that they leave without paying. Apparently, now there’s a dude that likes to “Dine and Crash”. A man living in Spain has been arrested for faking a heart attack at a restaurant in order to get out of paying the bill. He was finally arrested after the 20th time he tried to do it. He’d done it so often in his little town that everyone knew who he is and what he was doing. They finally got fed up, no pun intended.
In every instance, he would be asked to pay. Then he would dramatically throw himself to the ground and pretend to be having a heart attack. I’m sure the health system in Spain is different than here, but I’d be more concerned about the ambulance and hospital bill being waaaay more than what the food cost. Although, he was ordering expensive seafood dinners and expensive whiskey.
