The Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha is up for more awards. It’s been nominated in USA Today’s 10 Best Reader’s Choice Awards. You can vote for it being the Best Zoo as well as Best Zoo Exhibit for the Desert Dome AND Best Safari Park for the Lee G Simmons Wildlife Safari.
They won each of the categories last March. Back in 2014, it won “Best Zoo On The Planet” in the Traveler’s Choice Awards by Trip Advisor. They were up against 300 zoos. They’ve won other stuff, but it’d probably take all day to mention them.
