Never leave your smart phone where your dog can get and chew on it. It might explode in his mouth or set your house on fire.
A video from a home in Tulsa, Oklahoma has surfaced showing a dog getting his paws, and mouth, on a lithium ion battery out of a smart phone. He chewed on it, because I’m sure they taste just like bacon, and then kablooey, it exploded. Actually, it was more of a sparkler show. You know those little tanks you can buy for the 4th of July? They shoot sparks out the cannon. It kind of looked like a defective version of one of those where sparks come out of everywhere.
Luckily the dog jumped away without getting hurt. But, the mattress the dog was on to burst into flames. Also, luckily, that dog, another dog, and a cat were all able to escape the house.
Fun fact, a lot of ear buds that you stick in your head use lithium ion batteries. I never leave my gym bag in my car during the summer because it’s possible that the ear buds can overheat and start a fire.
