People always tell me that I have an irrational fear of snakes. I get that. But also, a few days ago, a woman in Taiwan was attacked and then wrapped up by a snake in her kitchen.
This poor, 64 year old woman, was just about to wash the dishes when the monster python stabbed its fangs into her thigh. Even as she looked down to see what the heck, this evil creature of lore was already coiling around her in attempt to squeeze her to death and took her to the ground.
Lucky, she was near the open door and was able to call for help. A neighbor came, but she was stuck with this belly crawling, 16 foot devil holding her tightly for over 2 hours. Cops even hit it on the head with a crowbar. Finally it let go and slithered away.
For some reason, no one caught it. If I were that woman, I’d be concerned about that. Snakes are devious.
Anyhoo, she’s fine except for several bites. Which, no, is not fine.
