Sabrina Carpenter song perfect to do CPR to. Watch vid.

By Austin Michael Oct 14, 2024 | 6:55 PM

Apparently the Sabrina Carpenter song “Please, Please, Please” is the perfect tempo for doing Hands Only CPR. The American Heart Association posted that it’s 107 beats per minute, which is right on the mark.

Hands Only CPR, by the way, is for people who are uncomfortable performing mouth to mouth. It can double or triple a person’s chance at surviving a heart attack.

I was taught CPR in grade school and again in junior high. Do they still do that? I also had to train in CPR during my summer swimming lessons as a kid. I’ve certified a couple of times as an adult. I’m big on knowing CPR. My grandfather had a heart attack while driving down I-80. Three other people were in the car. None of them knew CPR. He died. I have a friend that just had a massive heart attack a few weeks ago. He literally died for a few minutes, but they brought him back. He’s been posting daily pics from his hospital room where he’s been staying after getting a quadruple bypass. He’s not even 50 yet.

Also, I just read an article from the Mayo Clinic that talked about a recent study showing a rise in heart attacks of younger women. There’s data showing increasing numbers of young adults suddenly having heart attacks with no signs of risk factors.
