I was looking through a couple of the “Hottest Christmas Toys” lists for this year. One I think we’re going to see a lot of and get sick of real fast are the remote controlled lizards. They’re called Hex Bot Wall Crawler Geckos. They’re gecko shaped robots that can literally crawl up walls via a remote control. That’s the cool part that I think will make kids want one. Here’s the part that I think is going to make adults sick of them real fast. In the description, one of the main selling points is, “Scare family and friends with life like movement!” If you’ve had young kids, you know that is all they’re going to try to do for the first 3 days……… over and over and over while saying things like, “I bet you can’t guess what’s above your head” 3 or 400 times.
But, if you’re willing to put yourself through that for your kid’s happiness, you can find them at Wal Mart for $25, which is a few bucks cheaper than Amazon.
Oh yeah, it also has glowing red LED eyes. So, that’s perfect for when someone’s in a dark bedroom trying to get sleep.
