It’s time for another one of those lists where they say what the favorite holiday thing of each state is. And 9 times out of 10, they’re wrong.
Google did a map based on search trends to come up with a map listing every state’s favorite pie. For Nebraska, they list Banana Cream Pie. I mean, they’re good, but I’ve had a slice once in my entire life. I’ve never seen one at a holiday gathering. I guess it could be sooooo good that everyone eats them up before I get there, but I doubt it.
They did a 2nd map based on favorite baked good in each state. For Nebraska, they say it’s Pumpkin Sour Cream Coffee Cake. Never heard of it. Have you?
I don’t think you can beat a warm slice of a fruit pie with a couple scoops of frozen solid vanilla ice cream on top. Okay, 2 slice could beat it.
