Gigantic tree (hundreds of feet) found in remote area.

Explorers have found a tree that’s taller than the Statue of Liberty.

There’s an area in Tibet that’s the least explored area on Earth, outside of the ocean. It’s a canyon that is longer and deeper than the Grand Canyon. It’s freezing, inhospitable, and full of armored monkeys that try to capture people and force them to watch Clint Eastwood movies.

Okay, I made up the monkeys, but there are Clint Eastwood movies. Also, this canyon’s average elevation is 13,000 and is way dangerous. Nobody really wants to go there. There are lots of tall trees there, but researchers  found a cypress that is 335 feet tall. The Nebraska state capital roof is just 28 feet higher.

They’ve released a new, full length picture of the Cypress. I saw a smaller version of the pic and I still had to run my finger across my mouse’s scroll wheel FIVE times to get to the bottom. Click here to see that picture.
