Here we go again with crazy expensive gift bags for celebrities at the Oscars. This year, they’re worth a little over $216,000 dollars. Although, if I remember right, that’s a lot less than the Golden Globes gift bags.
But who’s keeping track, right?
The gift I would like the most is a 4 day trip to the Maldives; beautiful beaches and crystal clear water…….. it’s a little slice of paradise, but expensive. The 4 day trip is valued at $23,000.
There are also a couple of wellness retreats listed at a few grand each. Meh.
$25,000 in that gift bag are on body contouring treatments which sounds a little high priced to me.
Some businesses threw in items that are meant to help out victims of the recent fires. I know a couple are meant to be given to people in need, like vouchers for services from Bright Harbor. But, some I’m not so sure. There’s a gift of $50,000 in home renovation services, but it doesn’t mention anything about being able to give it to someone else. Although, $50k might only go as far as replacing a kitchen sink in a movie star’s house.
Other items include cannabis products, rose gold vape pens, gourmet popcorn, and enough other stuff to fill a room.
