The Olympics are going on in Tokyo and while I fully admit that I am not paying a whole lot of attention this year (I’m more of a Winter Olympics fan), I couldn’t ignore all of the attention Simone Biles got late last week and earlier this week for choosing to drop out of her events to focus on herself and then reentering for the balancing beam and winning the Bronze. I choose to not give my opinion often but what I will say about this is good for her. She needed to put herself first and as she already has many medals to back up her skills she clearly doesn’t need to prove herself to anyone. Anyway, yesterday NBC put out a video voiced by Taylor Swift celebrating Simone Biles and since they have each tweeted each other gushing over their fandom of each other that I thought was sweet, so here you go…
