There are some breath taking, amazing photos that National Geographic just released. I’m not being dramatic. The drama is within the pictures and the way they make you feel.
It’s National Geographic’s Pictures Of The Year 2025. The animal pics were what caught my eye, but there are thousands of photos of everything from around the world.
The word “stunning” doesn’t do them justice. There’s one of a middle aged man in Brazil who recently lost him home and the only thing he has left in his life is his pet bird. The photo is of this tiny bird resting on his shoulder, it’s head leaning in to touch his with its eyes closed as if consoling him. His are closed to and you can tell in this moment, where he has lost everything, he finds solace in this connection.
