The Kearney Archway did not collapse onto the interstate.
The Buffalo County Sheriff received several calls last night from people going nuts because they saw an AI picture online which made it look like the Archway was in shambles on the road.
Here’s where the obligatory, “Don’t believe everything you see on the internet” announcement usually goes. Here are a couple of good points to consider if you’re unsure. If it seems fantastical, sensational, or unlikely, no matter how SLIGHTLY possible it is…….. if you’re not immediately hearing about something like this all over the news, it isn’t real.
Not like that dancing pickle that speaks Spanish.
The Archway people did post a statement saying, “The Archway Monument is still standing strong.”
