Somebody was super bored with the extra time between Christmas and New Years. You know the scene in Ghostbusters 2 where we see the river of slime? It’s about 5 seconds. The folks at Liminal Visuals took that clip, looped it into 5 HOURS, and added some dark ambient music behind it.
Think of it this way. Take the looped video of a fireplace with the relaxing crackling sounds and replace it with a sewer tunnel full of flowing slime with sounds that feel like they’re straight out of an Omen movie.
The video has been up on You Tube for a couple of days. And, lots of people are saying that it’s relaxing. I don’t know about relaxing. But, I did watch for a few minutes. Kind of mesmerizing might be a better description. Mesmerizing in a kind of scary way.
