Tini Mac N Cheese looks awesome! Recipe in blog.

By Austin Michael Jan 8, 2026 | 2:01 PM

So I was talking to Alynn Sampson, the Director of Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach, a couple of days ago. We were cutting a commercial and it turns out she love Mac n Cheese just as much as I do!!! Apparently there’s a fantastic recipe that’s had over 100 million views on Tik Tok and I knew NOTHING about it, somehow. It’s Tini’s Mac and Cheese.

First, toss the elbow noodles and use cavatappi. They supposedly hold more cheese. I’m not sold on that, but I’m sticking to the recipe.

From there, it’s a crazy amount of delicious sounding ingredients that don’t usually go into Mac and Cheese: Colby, mozzarella, garlic, paprika, heavy cream, butter, and Dijon mustard. It sounds like cholesterol filled heaven. I can’t wait to try it out this weekend. Alynn raved about it and every review I’ve read does too. It’s a super easy recipe too.
I’m also already thinking about how I can tweak the recipe like adding shrimp or lobster to it. But that’ll come later. I just wanted to share with you because it looks so tasty. Here’s the video. Full recipe below it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound cavatappi, cooked
  • 16 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 16 ounces Colby Jack cheese, grated
  • 8 ounces Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook cavatappi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Combine all three shredded cheeses in a bowl and divide half into another bowl. Set aside.
  4. Combine garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Divide in half and set aside.
  5. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add half the seasoning mixture and flour. Stir until the mixture becomes paste-like, about 3 to 5 minutes. Add evaporated milk and whisk until thick. Add heavy cream and the rest of the seasonings and mix until combined. Whisk in Dijon mustard until thick. Slowly add in half the cheese, allowing it to melt before adding more.
  6. Stir in macaroni until coated with cheese sauce.
  7. Add a layer of macaroni and then a layer of shredded cheese to the prepared baking dish. Repeat layers.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Finish by broiling until top is golden brown, about 2 minutes.
