This is how big Facebook has gotten. META just signed a deal with three different owners of THREE nuclear power plants to provide juice for META data centers. They are literally going nuclear.
In other news, Mark Zuckerberg was visiting one of those nuclear sites, got bit by a spider, and finally gained the strength and dexterity of a normal human being.
Jokes aside, these are 3 new nuclear power sites that will provide META with up to 6.6 Gigawatts of power by 2035. ONE gigawatt can power 100 million LED lightbulbs. On average, it can power 750,000 homes for a year. It’s soooo much power that it can power the egos of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for half an hour.
The nuclear plants are expected to start powering META around June.
