Dr. Pepper announced that they’re going to be releasing a new snack called Dr. Pepper Juicy Gels. They didn’t explain what they are though, just a picture. First, think of those 4 packs of pudding. Now imagine they’re filled with a Dr. Pepper colored substance that looks like Jell-O. I’m guessing it’s Dr. Pepper flavored Jell-O type stuff. They say they’ll come in 4 packs.

I’ve never been a fan of Jell-O. I think it goes all the way back to when I was a kid and my grandmother, who had no business being in a kitchen, would make terrible Jell-O salads. It was basically a piece of every fruit and vegetable from the fridge frozen in time inside whatever the worst possible flavor of Jell-O she could find. Also, the texture and the way Jell-O slides around in your mouth and down your throat is……. Unnerving.
I do think that Dr. Pepper flavored candy gummies would be great. Mike and Ike had cola flavored packs a few years ago. They were fantastic.
