Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in two separate cases: one involving a grocery store hit-and-run driver; the other involving a downtown graffiti artist who tagged multiple locations.
The first case was reported around 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the Super Saver near Fallbrook Boulevard and Purple Heart Highway.
LPD Video Forensics Technician Becky Keller said the victim in this case was grocery shopping when their vehicle was hit in the parking lot. Investigators observed through security footage a male suspect driving a red Toyota Tacoma and backing into the victim’s vehicle.
After also hitting the curb, the suspect drove off and fled the scene.
Video and photos from the incident are available below.
The second case was reported on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in the area of 14th and “O” Street in downtown Lincoln.
Keller said multiple locations had been vandalized with spray paint graffiti over the prior weekend, including a traffic control box, a glass window, the side of a businesses, and a dumpster.
Some of the tags were profane, according to Keller, while others depicted the name “Jasper.”
Security cameras at nearby businesses captured two suspects, who were seen entering Duffy’s Tavern. See the footage below.
